Welcome to the Somerville Rotary Club

We are a committed group of people who want to make positive changes in our community and the world.  Our club members share a passion for community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back.
The Somerville Rotary Club was established in 1924 and over the past 100 years the Somerville Club members have volunteered to make Somerville a better place.  Today, the Club activities focus on improving food security within the Somerville community, combatting homelessness and domestic violence, assisting immigrants, protecting the environment and supporting seniors and our school age children.

The Somerville Club has also actively supported Rotary International’s Areas of Focus around the world:

  • Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution

  • Disease Prevention and Treatment, especially efforts to eradicate Polio

  • Water, Sanitation and Hygiene projects

  • Maternal and childcare initiatives

  • Basic Education and Literacy

  • Community Economic Development

  • Care and Protection of the Environment

Come celebrate the impact of Rotary in Somerville and around the world at the 100th Anniversary Celebration on May 14, 2024 at the Dilboy Post in Davis Square.

Change your community with us by volunteering on a local project.

We work with groups and organizations of all sizes to accomplish even more.
